Missed Something
Thanks to the cleaning peeps dropping by the household today I was forced to take my half-day from work relaxation elsewhere. Thus I find myself sitting uncomfortably in an awkwardly tall stool/table at Caribou Coffee at the intersection of N. Druid and Lavista. Right before I went on the air to back-announce, I went to allmusic.com to look up what the acronym “DMBQ” stands for. It turns out that the allmusic homepage has a video commercial for Nuva Ring, and the first few seconds of it played over the air. I can’t stop laughing.

Bobby Cox was thrown out of this afternoon’s Braves @ Marlins game. The estimated attendance at the game was barely 1,000, so the television cameras picked up the entire conversation between Bobby and Home Plate umpire Mark Wegner. I now know for sure Bobby’s favorite expletive and least favorite umpire in MLB.
